I am just about to turn in my quidditch robes and tell them I'm out. Why can't I be Percy's daughter, with nothing to live up to? Or Uncle George's good for nothing Roxanne? No. I have to be Harry Potter seeker daughter. Whatever. I don't care anymore. And just because I am kind of failing potions does not mean that mum can't just send me hate mail in the middle of the night. I get it. I've had enough of our family members being injured or worse, but I feel absolutely useless. And more importantly, I feel as if my parents think I am positively useless.

In lighter, but more annoying news, I heard a rumor that Peeves has been stealing girls underwear? I'm happy to say mine are just fine, and regardless, no one would know they belonged to me anyway.

Lastly, I'm terribly excited for the weekend. Hogsmeade will be great!

Edit: It seems everyone forgot my birthday, including me. Mum sent me a couple things early, so when the day rolled around I forgot about it. Happy 16th birthday me!

Rosie, I feel rather securely that you're the only Weasley who has it for your Malfoy. I don't think you have too much to worry about. Really.

And in other news, I am openly campaigning against these kittens. Has Filch ever heard of a bag full of a bunch of rocks?

Snow day! I went out and ended up playing with some of the younger years. Some of those kids are really strong. Perhaps a couple future beaters! Anyway, if things keep going this way, I might not able to see out my dorm windows! Oh that would be the day!

I cannot believe the new broom shop was robbed! I mean it makes sense; the owner is still green, but that doesn't make it any less regrettable. Now the more questionable students at Hogwarts can't thief away small unnoticeable items. And I don't mean me - Mum and Dad certainly give me an allowance, also known as whatever I need.

Seems the scandal witch finally got it right. There is an intense rivalry over a particular boy between Dust and I. His name, I'm sure you're all wondering. Kent Woddlewood.
